NASTC Certified
Safety Manager
NASTC has always been looking for ways to help our members
in areas of safety and compliance. Few of our members have
the resources to employ experienced safety personnel to run
their safety programs.
We have developed this Safety and Compliance
Training Program to help our members and their employees better
understand the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and
their responsibilities under the rules. These classes have
been designed to address the primary subjects of the DOT compliance
audit.
Course Offerings for Members & Employees
We will offer these courses to our members and their
employees at our annual meetings and safety training seminars.
We will endeavor to always offer at least 2 courses per meeting
to better facilitate the rapid completion of the entire program.
Every individual that completes a course will receive a certificate
of completion for that course. When they have completed all
of the offered courses they will receive a plaque and a certificate
recognizing them as a NASTC Certified Safety manager.
Keep Personnel Trained in Safety and Compliance
The
DOT tends to look favorably on efforts that companies make
to keep their personnel trained in safety and compliance.
