The National Association of Small Trucking Companies will be holding its 20th Annual Conference November 11-13, 2010. NASTC's previous annual conferences have been both informative and entertaining.
Each year NASTC hand picks guest speakers with specialized expertise in several areas of the transportation industry. Some of the 2009 guest speakers included: Dan Baker, Rick Gobbell, Richard Bell, and Henry Seaton.
Throughout the weekend breakout seminars are held with specific areas being discussed and an open forum for our members to communicate concerns and questions with the available speakers.
During the first night of the conference a Broker/Carrier Trust Forum and Dinner is held. NASTC honors the NASTC Best Broker of the Year. The 2009 Best Broker of the Year was Des Moines Truck Brokers of Norwalk, IA. This event is also an opportunity for brokers and carriers to address issues within the industry.
A vendor showcase is held allowing members and vendors from the transportation industry to form relationships and exhibit the newest products and services within the industry. A reception is held immediately after with a Driver of the Year award ceremony.
The last day of the conference a members only luncheon is held that will account the events of the past weekend and also is held to once again honor the NASTC Drivers of the Year.
We are very proud of the high quality carriers. brokers, and vendors Sthat choose to be NASTC members and look forward to personal meeting all of you at the next conference.
